Modifying the Title Bar

Can I modify the Title Bar, so as to add some additional elements in the title bar?

I have to modify the Title bar and want to add the Search Box, basically an Input text and cancel button. Is there any special component available in BB10 AIR SDK or I will have to create a custom one?

Re: Modifying the Title Bar

No not directly. You may be able to extend it, add your new elements and override the updateDisplayList to organize it they way you would like.

Alternatively, you can add your elements to the display list at the same level as the title bar and in that owning container, position the new items "over" the title bar. Just make certain you add the new children after the title bar.

Yes, in that case only option is to add element in the same container, and its done!
