WOOT v1.0.1.... i hope that means it includes all apis needed like accelerometer and hopefull fully functioning audio and video codecs?

Don't get too excited read the release notes. Also if you downloading SDK you don't need Standalone Simulator - it is included in the SDK.

Ahhh, just what we need to get things picked up again!

 

There's a good chance I will get my hands on real hardware tomorrow to tide me over till the free one is delivered.

 

New hardware: check
