Ouput to CSV

Hey guys, this is a bit of a cross-post, but I was told to ask here as well, so here it is:

I'm working with a team on a research application on the Playbook that requires the researcher to obtain information from our application.  We have tried endlessly to export to a .txt file, but to no avail.

There seems to be no documentation or samples online, so would anyone have some helpful information?

We are using javascript with HTML5, and if possible, would like to output to a .csv file, which the researcher could easily pull the data from.

Any other suggestions are welcome as well, but exporting to an FTP server or anything like that is a last resort.

Is there any way I can do this without fully switching over to Adobe AIR?

You posted this in the AIR section of the fora, I suggest you move your thread over here.

Re: Ouput to CSV

Dont know about WebWorks because it sounds to be a WebWorks issue, but I would verify that you have permission to write to the documents directory if that is where you are trying to write to.  In regards to FTP, you will have to write or find a webworks FTP class.  There are many for AIR.  But with AIR, writing a CSV file is just a few lines of code.
