Yeah, definitely makes me think I might need to spruce up my app a little. I've kind of got the default AIR look going on, but I always planned on doing more later. It'll be interesting to see what the overall UI of the Playbook ends up looking like so we can base our designs off of that so they look like they fit better.

I've been in the same boat, waiting to see how good the real thing looks before deciding on updating graphics, animations, and other effects. It's really hard to judge the interaction and navigation effects with the current simulator.


But as I've written on another thread just recently, having had my hands on the real hardware for a brief time today, I'm really impressed by the overall look and feel. And what some developers have done with their apps (EA for example), makes me want to get to work harder to improve.
