Playbook app development with NDK?

I'd like to begin developing a drawing app using OpenGL and C++ (or even java) for the playbook, but I'm not sure if I should wait until the NDK is released.  I know there will not be a definitive answer to this, just looking for any input from someone more knowledgeable than me on the subject.  Should I just wait until the NDK is released, or can I begin coding my app using OpenGL_ES / C++ / Java and be fairly confident most of it will port without too much hassle?

Re: Playbook app development with NDK?

There will probably be some kind of framework to define entry points and subscribe to system events. The SDK will probably provide Ui components to mimic what is available in the AS SDK. If you stay C++ and OGL to the screen size of th ePB, you are probably moving in the right direction. I would keep the code as moduler as possible incase you have to move things around.
