QNXDevice missing swc

Hi, I would need to use qnx.system.device (which currently lives in QNXDevice.ane) in a Flex library project but it is not included anywhere.

Searching the internet suggested that it might have lived in qnx-screen.swc some time ago but this file seems to be long gone.

Any idea where I could find it?

Including qnx-air.swc adds QNXSystem and another bunch of namespaces but no Device.

Re: QNXDevice missing swc

You need to include it as a AIR Native Extension not a .swc file.

See the following link for instructions on how to include it.

Re: QNXDevice missing swc

I would need to do this on a Library project not a mobile application and as far as I know you can't add an ane file directly... there is really no what to have this reference in library project?

Re: QNXDevice missing swc

Unfortunately no. You might be able to add the .ane just like you would a .swc file in your library project. If this does work you will need to make sure that is externally included and not linked to merge in code. This will give your library access to the API's, but not include any of the implementation in the .swc file.

But any application that uses it must make sure they include that ANE as well.
