Hi all. The stickied post said no questions here but there was no section for the Playbook (at least I didn't see one) and I need some clarificaiton before I purchase one. The company I work for purchases BB for their employees. These BB are on a secure network and as a result, very limited in connectivity. Connecting to the internet is barely possible and app installation is impossible. To work around this, I have a BB with Rogers that uses a Hotmail email account. Connectivity is much better but I do not have access to my work email account. I know the difference between Bridging and Tethering. My question is, can I tether a Playbook with full internet connectivity through a work BB. Basically, use it as an aircard. Will I be as limited in connectivity as I am with a work BB? Thanks in advance.
Most likely it will be as limited as you device is when you tether.
A bridge conenction will be like doing remote control for your smartphone.
So you might want to brige to work phone and tether to personal one. You might get best of both worlds this way. Will have to see if both can be done at same time though.
