"When we launched CrackBerry.com 10 years ago, we set out to make it a fun and useful destination where BlackBerry Smartphone owners could share their excitement and learn to unleash the full potential of their BlackBerry. A decade later, the CrackBerry community is as active and passionate as ever and I know our knowledgeable members and volunteers will be excited to welcome and assist more BlackBerry owners with their questions."

IMHO the apps I've submitted so far are fun to play with and I think will be approved. What I'm saying is It's too early in the game to be trying to develop apps with advance features. Especially with the crappy simulator we have to work with. Get the free playbook first. Then work on that super app.

That might not be as easy as you say it is for everybody. I, for example, live in Europe and I will most likely have to wait a few extra weeks/months untill the PlayBook is available in my region (as stated in the T&C). I quite dislike this term since I believe there are briljant developers in other regions than the US who need a developer device as well.

As far as I know is it perfectly possible to launch a device in the US after FCC Clearance and in the European Union after receiving the CE Mark at the same time. Both take about the same amount of time. Even a small company like Notion Ink succeeds in this.
