I downloaded the latest sim, and the app-xml was automatically generated with the extensions as in your post:

So I guess I will give a shoot to the BBM service, to see if I can make it work for CS6... if I can´t I will try with Flash Builder... problem there: I have the whole code under actions, instead of using classes and in FB its all about classes, I think
