I've finished an app written specifically for Playbook, and although I set up an account on the App World Vendor portal weeks ago, never got a confirmation and can't login or change my password.
I spent an hour or so on the phone with BB phone support and was unable to get the problem resolved. They've created a ticket and sent it to an insulated team that doesn't take calls. They say it may take two days to clear up the problem.
I'm hoping to get through the process and get this free game in the App Store while there's still time on the clock for the free Playbook promotion.
So, I'm wondering if I might be able to email it to a reviewer on the Playbook team, to at least begin getting feedback about anything that BB might want changed, etc.
And BTW, has anybody else had difficulties like this with the App World Vendor portal?

I had no trouble setting up my account with the vendor portal. The only delay was getting the needed paperwork notorized.
I can almost say with 100% assurance that you will have to submit via the vendor portal.
You have time. So either wait to get the portal login resolved, or create a new login.

@trickyelf, I'd only worry about that if it takes them more than a couple of weeks to fix the problem. They have suggested several times that apps need only be submitted for review before the deadline, not that they must also be approved, to qualify for the PlayBook. It hasn't been said officially, but then nothing much has been...
