Testing file writing on BB10 without a device in hand

I am revisiting the possibility of submitting our Android apps for BlackBerry ( BB10 and PlayBook ).

Our initial go at it, prior to PlayBook's release, resulted in a Denied Status...  with no explanation.

I assume it was because of the files being written to the device.

How can I test File Writing for BB10 devices   without a device?

I do not trust the simulator to handle errors exactly the same in this regard..  should I?

Re: Testing file writing on BB10 without a device in hand

If you do not have a DevAlpha device, the simulator is your only alternative. The simulator is the actual OS running in VMWare, so the results will be the same in the simulator as it would be in the device.
