Use an Array as dataprodiver for a List

Hi,

I want to use an Array as dataprovider for a list. Has anyone an example?

How do I update the List if any item of the Array has changed?

Re: Use an Array as dataprodiver for a List

Your need to make the array bindable

[Bindable]

internal var listOfItems:Array = new Array();

then when the array changes, the code is put into place to ensure anything that uses the array is updated.

Now just assign the array to the component (psudo code here)

component.dataprovider = listOfItems;

Could you provide more code as an example

I am trying to load a list of .mp3 files from a folder or assests into a ListBox and then once clicked assign the filename to the button along with the sound.

Many Thanks

Ben
