Has anyone ever used In-app purchase in AIR apps for BB10.
I was just evaluating the efforts required to implement the in-app purchase and the possible hurdles/difficulties in implmentation, in addition to app-upgrades in future.
Any thoughts/experiances welcome :-)

for starters, you can go here:
(with basic in app purchase example)
I always planned to do this someday, but until now, the link has been only a bookmark in my browser

Had browsed through that but I am sure there would be some more scenarios which are not covered there.
If developing the in-app purchase takes much of efforts, it would be nice to sell at fixed price.

you should browse the forums a bit - there are many threads of other ppl considering rather a freemium model than a paid one. since the mentality of many users is 'only if it's free, I'll download', as devs, we should follow that trend (in my opinion). but since there's no advertising sdk in bb10, all we can do in that direction is going the in-app-purchase-way
but like i said, you should browse the forums a bit

Yes, I understand that mostly people download free stuff.
In addition if they like, they can buy other stuff as in-app purchase. Having more downloads and more reviews even help you go up in the app-list in app-world. That is the main reason I was thinking of in-app purchase.
I have another of my app which is selling ok..ok... but there are hardly 3-4 reviews, even after it being BFB.
So I am thinking of In-app model.
