adding icon made background transparent when deactive

[ Edited ]

Hi, I am observing interesting phenomenon(?)

I added an icon to my application I developed using the guide provided by the kb article:

http://docs.blackberry.com/en/developers/deliverables/21877/Add_icon_to_configuration_file_1374808_1...

The icon has been added successfully on the simulator and everything is normal however I am noticing that the background now becomes when I deactivate the app (swipe up to zoom out of the app window).

It's weird because in the zoomed out view, all the components are present (such as label fields, buttons, etc.) but the background (which is black) turns transparent. When I focus the application again, the background color become solid.

(Although I admit this method of adding icon is fishy since it tells me to create another .xml file when there is one present already - one that was created when I first set up the project - maybe this is the source of error...?)

I'm scared that RIM will reject the app because of this reason so I am holding submission until this problem gets solved.

Anyone have any idea what may cause this??!!

Any help is appreciated!!

Never mind, I solved my own case. The answer was hidden Smiley Tongue

Transparent tag in the .xml file must be set to false!
