Yes. For some reason when I paste things into this forum, it duplicates the text, and then I have to delete the duplicated part. I evidently missed a line.

It looks weird but there may be a pb with your debug token.
Can you try to remove the current one and create a new one ? (and maybe paste the commands you use to do it). But if you got the token uploaded in the first place, this part should be ok....
Well, I would start over the process.

That didn't have any affect.
I think I'm going to request a new code signing key and go through all of the steps again... maybe there's something screwed up with the various key files.

I've finally figured out what the problem is.
As mentioned, the command that I was using to package/deploy my app was:
blackberry-airpackager -devMode -package BabyNames.bar -installApp -launchApp BabyNames-app.xml BabyNames.swf blackberry-tablet-icon.png screen.png -device 192.168.1.106 -password ...
Now, before I reveal why this doesn't work, take a second look at the above and see if you can spot what's wrong. I'm actually surprised that no one spotted this since you all must be doing it correctly and the above, unbeknownst to me, is incorrect.
I'm missing "blackberry-tablet.xml". I didn't realize that needed to be included on the command line, and during all of my simulator development there was never any issue with it not being there. Nor do the "debug token" docs mention that it needs to be there. Oy.
So perhaps you guys could update:

I have a quick question sort of related to this
Looking around the forums, I assume the only ways I can run an SWF file on my Playbook is by:
1. getting a debug token
2. packaging the SWF file in a bar file, signing it, submitting it to RIM etc.
Is this right? I was wondering if there was an easier route.
I'm trying to debug/test my app & am looking for the quickest way.
I'm making it in CS5.
