failure 500 Application author does not match debug token author.

[ Edited ]

I know that this is a common question, but the thing is it was working perfectly few days ago ...

I tried to delete the token, create new and upload and everything works except that I keep getting that error when trying to test my app on the device.

I went to the signing tool and selected the debug token then clicked on details, and the author id there matches <authorId> inside blackberry-tablet.xml exactly.

Everything was working OK a while ago, I installed AIR SDK 3.0, and Playbook SDK 1.1.0 after the last time I used it, but I don't think this should be a problem as I configured it to use AIR2.7

Another thing I am trying to do is to download the 1.1.1 SDK but out of all days its under maintenance and I can't download it, and I really need to get that app onto the PB today!

Any help would be appreciated.

Re: failure 500 Application author does not match debug token author.

Yup this was the problem:

 3. Your own .bar file really has your blackberry-tablet.xml file in it.

seems the compiler stoped including the the xml file for some reason, and I never noticed as always assumed that it gets included by default.

Thanks.
