product download charts

are the downloads the amount of times, someone downloaded an app from appworld?

i released an update and got a lot of downloads, but no purchases. does this mean people updated?

i am confused.

also: is there any possible way to see how much money you made? if not, i'll prbbly write a java app soon, that interpretes download charts... (if so, i'd share it with you of course)

Re: product download charts

Yes, downloads are the ammount of times someone downloads the app, so I coudl purchase your app once, delete it and download it many more times for free having already paid for it.

Purchases tell you how much you have made.

To see how much money you have made you could use a service such as Distimo Monitor, it's very good.

Re: product download charts

Try www.distimo.com. Free service that provides a lot more information then App World will probably ever provide.
