softKeyboardActivating event

For Android projects I use softKeyboardActivating event to hide Keyboard, when Textinput gets focus.

It's look like this:

textinput.addEventListener("softKeyboardActivating", deactivateKeyboard);

private function deactivateKeyboard(e:Event):void{
e.preventDefault();
}

But seems like it doesn't work for Blackberry.

I use FB Buritto and Flex Mobile Project.

Any ideas?

Re: softKeyboardActivating event

That event type is not available on the PB.  There are threads that covers showing and hiding the keyboard, but none of them are official as best as we know.

Re: softKeyboardActivating event

I've searched info on this forum and found solution.

All i need is to set  mouseChildren="false" for my textinput, so it looks like:

<s:TextInput mouseChildren="false"/>

Textinput gets focus and virtual keyboard doesn't appear. It's great!
