stage.deviceOrientation with PlayBook?

Will the Playbook support StageOrientation?  I assume we'll be able to test it in the Simulator as some point?

protected function view1_resizeHandler(event:ResizeEvent):void

{

if(stage){

if(stage.deviceOrientation == StageOrientation.ROTATED_LEFT || stage.deviceOrientation == StageOrientation.ROTATED_RIGHT){

img.rotation = 0;

}

else {

img.rotation = 90;

}

}

}

Thanks,

Don

Re: stage.deviceOrientation with PlayBook?

to my knowledge RIM has said it will certainly support device orientation.  I know that is coming in the simulator, I just don't know when.

Re: stage.deviceOrientation with PlayBook?

I'm specifically asking if the AS3 code from Flex Mobile's stage.deviceOrientation will work?  My guess is that it will since the Flex Mobile Framework is supported.

Highly likely would be an educated guess.  But, we're still beta.
