Android app crashing.

Hi,

Recently I installed an android application on BB 10 that uses Web Service on each view / activity.

My first activity is "Login" where I authenticate user against web service call and if user authenticated then delegate control to next view or activity. But on next view /  activity its terminating the application.

Same application is working fine android app.

Please guide me

Re: Android app crashing.

Are you testing in simulator or on real device? Do you have any logs, that maybe could explain your issue?

A like is always appreciated,
but a nomination for BB Elite even more :-)

Re: Android app crashing.

Most of the time I use the simulator for debugging, so I don't really know it works. But normally you should be able to use LogCat to see your device log.

My android app is working fine. No issue but after porting to BB 10 its giving "Force Close" error.

Re: Android app crashing.

You should also be able to debug on the device itself. As I don't know the real details on how you have to do this (and I don't have a device with me at the moment to test it), I give some links that could maybe help on debugging.

http://stackoverflow.com/a/9477671/1264315

But as far as I see you only have to 'Debug' from Eclipse on to the device. Then you will probably have some kind of log, or so I would expect. And the log will probably say what is wrong exactly.
