Android code reuse in blackberry 10

Hi to all,

 

We have android app in google app, now our customer want to publish the app in balckberry also, we want to know is there any possible to reuse the existing android source code in blackberry 10?

 

Note: I am not asking about the apk to BAR conversion

Any code using the standard java libraries can be reused with the Blackberry JDE. User interfaces and anything else using android libraries will have to be rewritten for blackberry.

Thanks for your reply friend.. so we can reuse the android source code with BB 10 native IDE rite? but i dont think it is possible... can you please give me some reference url or example then it would be very helpful for us

You can't use Java code in the BlackBerry Native SDK.  You can use C, C++, QML and JavaScript there.

Apologies for not getting back to this sooner.

As MSohm states you can't use java with the native IDE but if you use the JDE above you will be able to reuse code from java.* packages. Any classes and methods etc imported from android.* will need to be rewritten to use blackberry equivalents.
