App using zxing

I'd like to convert my android app but I'm using zxing in it with this code:

Intent intent = new Intent("com.google.zxing.client.android.SCAN");

try {
ac.startActivityForResult(intent, 8);

Unfortunately, this piece of code is not supported by BlackBerry: do you know if there is a solution to convert this?

Is it possible to use the zxing api available with BlackBerry api?

Re: App using zxing

Hello Cameldroid,

I had some similar issues and the solution I found was to incorporate zxing code on my app.

I did it following this blog post: http://www.jmanzano.es/blog/?p=244

Keep in mind that this is not the best solution since you will not get benefits from the zxing app contributors that may solve issues in the code that after you will need to merge in your development.

Hope it help,
