Application Identification

Hi,

After converting a Android application to BB when I connect my device using that application to our Webservice it identifies itself as:

“Z10 RIM Z10 (Android 2.3.3 10.0.0.336)”

Is there anyway to remove the Android part -  (Android 2.3.3 10.0.0.336) - from the identifier?

Best regards

Re: Application Identification

Do you know how you got that name, probalby from the User Agent? I don't know how you connect to the webservice, but normally you can change the user agent in your Android application, if I am not mistaken.

You should see how you can change this for the method of webservice connection you are using. There are probably some ways to do this.

I don't know if this is what you want?

A like is always appreciated,
but a nomination for BB Elite even more :-)
