Bug when switching back to an Android OpenGL application



I noticed an issue in my OpenGL application converted from android. The scenario is simple:

1. I start my OpenGL application

2. I switch to another application

3. I switch back to my application


Then it stops with the following error:

02-01 00:04:05.425: E/EglHelper(10330256): eglSwapBuffers returned EGL_BAD_NATIVE_WINDOW. tid=11

It's easy to reproduce: the same error happens with the simplest OpenGL example of the Android SDK ( http://developer.android.com/resources/samples/ApiDemos/src/com/example/android/apis/graphics/GLSurf... )


I checked, and the methods onSurfaceCreated, onSurfaceChanged, onDrawFrame are correctly called in that order when restoring the application but then it crashes.


I'm using BlackBerry OS


Any idea?

I don't have a solution, but you could check in the Issue Tracker whether there is a work-around, whether the problem has already been reported and - if not - create a new issue:
