Re: Developers Start here!

being new and being ignorant, is difficult. I have a playbook, I want to dabble in the developer arena, and Im stuck at stage one(1) which SDK platform do I want to use?
I tried the links and instructions for *eclipse, what a joke, the runaround associated with downloading and installing was irritating, dumped it. tried the online apk checker, got stuck "where in the **** is my Android SDK file"?
I know Im new and stupid, but where do i start I sure would like to make a try at this developer game. Thanks for any replys
