It wasn't working for me, then I realized the device shows (and I was entering) a PIN with uppercase letters, but the registration page expects lowercase letters.  I tried it with the lowercase PIN and it started working right away (albeit with a painfully slow download).

 

I guess converting to lowercase would strain the server too much, or something.  Or, concidentally, one of my previous attempts finally kicked in...

 

Anyway, worth trying if you haven't already and it's not working for you.

Good find, heyitscolin!

I just requested a second time with lower case, waited 5 seconds, tapped check for updates again  and it worked.

It has been over 14 hours since I have registered for the 2.0.0.7111 update! Can anyone please help me out?
