I've tried waiting the 24 hours and i've managed to get to the repair stage, however a pop up comes up during this process saying that i need at least 600mb of space on my computer, then stops the process.
I'm using a mac and i have over 100gb of space, PLEASE advise me how to complete this.
I did do a back up when before I upgraded and my 24 hours have passed. I've tried everything on your instructions post
Thanks in advance,

I'm having the same issue. My Mac is failing to extract the software image file and says I need at least 600MB of extra space. I have 200GB+ of space. Now, When I first attempted to downgrade, I lost connection and had to force quit Desktop Manager.
I'm thinking that a partial download is stored somewhere on the mac and instead of re-downloading, it continually tries to open up the partially downloaded file.

The files are saved in tmp folder which is hidden.
To access the tmp folder do the following:
Open terminal and type cd ../.. and enter this will bring you to the root directory
Then type cd tmp and enter
Then type ls -al and enter and it will display all of the tmp files
To delete a file type rm and the file name

I went into my tmp folder and removed all the files and directories in there. This error is still occuring when I attempt to downgrade. Any other thoughts?

We will need to review the Mac DTS logs for this issue. Please log this issue in the developer issue tracker and upload both the Mac Desktop and OS/X system logs.
The Mac Desktop logs can be found at <current user>/Library/Application Support/BlackBerryDesktop/logs/DTM-<date>.log
*** If you are using OS/X Lion the library folder may be hidden, running the command 'chflags nohidden ~/Library/' from terminal will cause the Library folder to be shown within Finder
The system.log can be obtained from the console application.
