I am unable to open the bug even after logging in successfully. For some reason, the page https://www.blackberry.com/jira/secure/Dashboard.j
Is it possible for you to add my BlackBerry ID or email address as a notification party after you open the bug yourself? That way, I can be uptodate of the bug status.
I don't wish to lose any more time just to create a bug for further investigation of this issue as our users are being affected for an unsually long time.
I will be grateful for your co-operation.

No problem Sunil, I have created the bug myself.
I don't see a way to add your BBID or email as an additional contact, so I'll have to forward any progress updates here.

Here's the link: https://www.blackberry.com/jira/browse/BBTEN-1135

I still cannot access https://www.blackberry.com/jira/browse/BBTEN-1135. I have tried on multiple machines.
Either the page never loads up or it gets redirected to https://www.blackberry.com/jira/secure/Dashboard.j
which also does not load. I am using Mac OS 10.7.5 with Chrome, Safari, Firefox.
Anyways, more importantly, I would like to know if there is any update on the bug or any additional information needed
from my side.

Thanks ndsmyter for confirming that it's up. I've tried on multiple machines as well and everything seems to work fine.
To answer your question Sunil, there hasn't been any updates as of yet and the issue is still in the triage queue.
I'll let you know if the developers are requesting other information a.s.a.p.

Considering that the solution is not yet imminent and our app users are complaining about unreliability due to the file download errors, do you advise we take the app offline from AppWorld?
Otherwise, it is causing unnecessary negative reviews because the App is totally unusable for a high number of users who download it.
04-18-2013 11:48 AM
We typically advise that you inform your customers of the issue in the release notes section, however pulling the app from the store is completely up to you.
I understand that negative feedback can be detrimental to your reputation.
04-18-2013 03:00 PM
I have removed the App out of AppWorld temporarily as we did not want to risk our reputation and also a release note is not appropriate in our case because the app could be very much unusable due to the core functionality not working.
I was also able to access the JIRA page with a different BlackBerry ID (newly created one). The latest exception log is attached with some more comments. I was able to add myself to the watch list for that bug. So, I presume any update on the bug status will send me an automatic notification.
I am still not sure if the bug is in our App code or Android Run Time, Can you please confirm based on the exception logs I have shared? I can share the relevant Android code if necessary also in the Jira report.
