Permissions issue

Hi,

Sorry if this question has been answered before, but I couldn't find any related information. Here is the story:

I have an Android game, that I ported to BB10 using the online packaging tool. The only permission my game requires is

<uses-permission android:name="android.permission.VIBRATE"/>

The game was approved and is posted for sale in BBWorld. For my surprise when I downloaded the game it asked for Shared Files and Device Identification permissions. When I checked the MANIFEST.MF file from the BAR package I found that actually those permissions are listed as required, although my game doesn't really need them to run

Entry-Point-User-Actions: access_shared,play_audio

 As you may guess a lot of users are upset and suspicious, asking why a simple game requires sensitive information.

What is the reason for adding such permissions in MANIFEST.MF? Is it because of the online packager? How can I fix the issue? Can I just manually edit the MANIFEST.MF?

Any ideas or comments are much appreciated. Thank you.

Re: Permissions issue

I just checked few others Android games (from other developers too). Every single Android game requires the above mentioned permissions: Shared Files and Device Identification.

Is this by design? Because it is a disaster, I get constantly negative reviews because of this.

Any comments from the BBRY gurus here?
