PlayBook Simulator (OS version Settings->Accounts Page not working

I'm trying to add an email account to do some testing on PlayBook simulator  (OS version I have my Blackberry ID correctly setup under Settings, but when i go to "Accounts" page, it has "Add New Account" button disabled and the screen keeps on displaying the "progress circle" on the page. 

Has anybody come across this issue where they are not able to add an email account on simulator? any suggested work-around?

This functionality is not supported in the BlackBerry PlayBook simulators as there is no mail client. If you are looking to test or setup email, you would have to use a physical BlackBerry PlayBook.
