Hello everyone, I am getting the message "Skip verifying (Project) because apk file was not changed", in the Error Log when I am trying to verify an Android apk file. Since I donot have a device or a simulator(Lack of required processor) I am not able to test the signed .bar file generated ignoring the above message.
Can someone please suggest a solution for the issue am facing. Thanks in advance.

I see something like,
"Skip verifying TestProject because apk file was not changed."
in my Console, but not in the Error Log.
If it's in the console, it is just a normal log letting you know that the tools didn't need to verify again since the project, specifically the manifest, didn't change significantly enough between executions to need to verify a second time.

Fine, for me it is occuring in Error Log. Assuming appearence message in Error Log also has same meaning as that of appearing it in the Console, is it fine if we ignore the message or has something to be done to overcome that.
I am having this query as I do not have device or simulator for testing and thus not able get it practically. Thank you.

Hello jjasmann, you were right warning didn't cause any problem, got the build verified and it is working fine.
I had one more query regarding porting i.e. is it necessary to change the version code appearing in the Manifest file of the app, everytime I have to create a signed build? I had read the same in some post so wanted to confirm, can you please resolve my query. Thanks in advance.

Glad that the warning didn't cause you any issues.
You don't have to update the version code every time you create a signed build, but you will if you are releasing an update to an application that you already have in BlackBerry World.
Hope that helps
