To Read data from files

Hi all,

This is my first post in forum!!

I have developed an application in android. Its an video application, i am taking video through camera and saved it to default location. After that i have copied the video from that location and able to save it to another location (Android->data/myVideos), but i am not able to access the video to read from that location. Will anyone know what might be the reason, should i need to give any other permission to read the data from the above location.

Re: To Read data from files

Hello Akhil,

Sounds like you might need to give that folder permissions. Take a look at this post and see if it helps out: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/14797746/android-read-write-permission-of-a-folder

You'll likely need to use the "WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE" permission even if you aren't using the SD card on BlackBerry.
