I have followed the steps at http://developer.blackberry.com/android/ for converting an android application to a blackberry application. I have a signed .bar file which I am trying to run on the Blackberry 10 dev simulator. I was able to install the app onto the simulator using the command line tools and my app icon appears on the home page. However, when I click on the icon a blank page with the blackberry logo pops up along with a blue loading bar at the bottom of the page. When the loading bar gets to around 80%, it suddenly stops and returns to the simulator home page.
I've only been able to start the simulator in safe mode, otherwise vmware never finishes loading the player
Simulator Blackberry 10 Dev Alpha C Siimulator Beta
VMWare 5.0.1 build-894247, 2 GB
Any ideas on what is causing the issue?

You would probably get more answers on this in the Android forum, I've asked the Moderator to move it.
Can I ask why you are using the Dev Alpha C simulator the hardware isn't generally available yet and the beta-ish nature of it makes it a risky proposition to test on.
Try the simulator for the hardware you actually have and see if there is still a difference.
On a side note as it's not a full implementation of Android on BB10 it's possible the checker missed some incompatibility...
I'd swear there was a better page than this on incompatibilities but I can't find it anymore.

I only chose the Dev Alpha C simulator because it was on the front page of the developer/android/tools page. I downloaded simulator version 22.214.171.124 and ran tthe application on that but the same issue appeared.
