So I was having a problem with Eclipse and decided to fall back to the command line, and while apk2bar works from within Eclipse, it dies a nasty death when I try to run it from the command line.
[ERROR] [Apk2bar] Android SDK "C:\Program Files (x86)\Android\android-sdk-windows\tools\" does not exist
What does it want for the Android SDK path? I've tried \tools and the root dir "android-sdk-windows" but it accepts neither..

You have to use a syntax such as : C:\Program Files (x86)\Android\android-sdk-windows\
But. Your version is too recent and not yet managed by the Command line tools.
Download an older one:
It works with the 2011 version but it only proposes a 2009 version, so I cannot garantee that the 2009 will work

You don't have to download an older SDK, the apk2bar converter just need two files to successfully convert the package.
And it will then recognise the folder adt-bundle-windows-x86\sdk as a valid Android SDK folder
