.bar deployment options

Hi all

For Blacberry OS up to 7.x we had the following options for installing our apps on the device:

- Necessary files: .jad/.cod

1) BES server

2) Blackberry world

2) OTA (over your own provisioning server, e.g. Apache)

3) Blackberry Desktop

4) javaloader

For Blackberry 10 I discovered only the following two (I am not talking about loading .apk):

- Necessary files: .bar

1) blackberry-deploy (USB or WiFi)

2) BES server

3) Blackberry World.

Are there any other means of getting a signed .bar on the device?

(sometimes it is just not manageable to use blackberr-deploy when working remotely... OTA was perfect for this.)

Re: .bar deployment options

Hey myraddin,

I believe you've listed all of the available ways. Is your main use-case trying to deploy an application remotely?

I know you've listed BlackBerry World, but I wasn't sure if you knew about sandboxing or not.
