My Device: anything but.

getting BB OS version via android runtime

Hello all,

I was wondering if it's possible to retrieve the BB OS version (of particular interest is the version of BB10 the android runtime is operating in) programatically through my android runtime code. as of right now, checking android.os.Build.VERSION.RELEASE gives, quite naturally, 2.3.3 which kind of makes sense. What i would like to be able to retrieve is, on my BB10 Dev Alpha, 10.9.10.35

Documentation regarding porting android applications is a bit scarce in this regard so i was hoping the community would have an answer.

Thanks.
