stop fresh install eveytime!

Hello,

I am porting an android app to bb10 os. Every time I run the app, its installed fresh everytime. Is there a possibility to do set some variable in the environment or on device to stop doing that? On every install previous installation is completely removed from the phone and I do not want that to happen.

Any help in this regard would be appreciated.

Thanks

I believe the problem might not be in the environment variable you are talking about.Where is this app being installed come from?

Re: stop fresh install eveytime!

This happens if I debug the project or Run it from the android IDE with device connected. I could not find any option which should say retain user data or anything like that. If the app is run on simulator, there is an option to wipe out the user data with every run but in case of device, there is no such option.

Any pointers?

I'm facing the same issue....it's impossible to work in this way: at every install I need to reconfigure manually my application!
