BBM for Android not signing in?

PLEASE help!!!!  Downloaded BBM for my Huawai Ideos S7 Slim and have created an ID, confirmed the email address.  Now when I sign in, it first says I must give a 5 star rating, then it goes back, I sign in again and it says I must download an app, then the third try, it says... "Cannot connect to BBM server.  Please check your internet connection if problem is persistent, please contact at BBM support????  I downloaded from the Google play..... What must I do to fix this and sign in please???????  I have 3G connection and am connected to wi-fi
