BBM for Android won't open

I just updated my bbm for Android. Now it won't open. I have a Samsung galaxy s3 mini

None at all. It just says "Opening BBM" with a rotating circle above it

The following settings may also need to be reviewed if the Android device is not able to receive data:

 

Confirm that Background Data is allowed:

 

  1. Open Settings.
  2. Tap Data Usage.
  3. Press the Menu button.
  4. Ensure that Background Data is not restricted.

Confirm that Wi-Fi is configured to remain on during Sleep mode:

 

  1. Open Settings.
  2. Tap Wi-Fi.
  3. Press the Menu button.
  4. Tap Advanced.
  5. Ensure that Keep Wi-Fi on during sleep is enabled.

If the Android smartphone connects to Wi-Fi networks that do not have an open connection to the Internet, ensure that the Android smartphone is checking for Internet Service:

  1. Open Settings.
  2. Tap Wi-Fi.
  3. Press the Menu button.
  4. Tap Advanced.
  5. Ensure that Check for Internet service is enabled.

At times, the Wi-Fi connection used by the Android device may need to be reset. To do this, complete the following steps:

 

  1. Open Settings.
  2. Set the Wi-Fi switch to the Off position.
  3. Set the Wi-Fi switch to the On position.

Hi, i have a problem.. I can't open my bmm.. It always say "unfortunately bbm has been terminated" can anyone help me?

i have the same problem, and even after following all the instructions, it still remeins the same
