Bbm not loading on my bold 9700. Just stuck on the blue screen "setting up bbm" Help!!!

I recommend doing a simple battery pull, then re install bum if that does not help.

Re install BBM. you know how it is with auto correct!

Also, make sure that your bbid software version is up to date Smiley Happy

Yes, if is out of date, you will have problems registering with the network causing issues signing in

Are you still having this problem or did the suggestions above help you out?

 

If you are still having problems, do you know if you are connected to the BlackBerry Internet Service? You should see the BlackBerry Logo next to your signal indicator at the top of your home screen.
You can also check your BlackBerry Internet Service connection status by going to Manage Connections, Service Status and checking the status for the BlackBerry Internet Service.

If you aren't connected, try a register now - The following BlackBerry Knowledge Base Article will explains how to do this - KB00510: How to register a BlackBerry Smartphone with the wireless network

 

Once you have done that check again to see if you have a connection to the BlackBerry Internet Service
