ever since I downloaded the new BBM my battery dies out very quickly. Is there a setting i can do to fix it?

No setting but you can try this:  With the phone powered off plug charger in phone and outlet and leave for 10 minutes.

Leave all plugged in and remove the battery for 3 minutes then replace battery and continue charging till full steady green light. Power on and check battery %.........Settings, About, Category, Hardware, Battery %........
