wrong email, i cant get my PW reset link

Hi

 

Ive just noticed that I put the incorrect email address (theres some letters and numbers missing) for my BBID and now I cant receive my PW reset link to change my PW which I have forgotten.

 

Hope this makes sense. Please Help!!

I think u should go back and do the same process again and then try to enter a correct email and check Smiley Happy

Theres two numbers and a dot to seperate the co.za that are missing to make up my correct email address

Forget the BlackBerry ID here : bbid.com

To change the Username (email address) on the BlackBerry ID account:
1.Visit http://www.blackberry.com/blackberryid from any browser.
2.Select Sign in.
3.Enter the current BlackBerry ID Username and Password, then click Sign In.
4.Select Account Details.
5.Next to Details, select Edit.
6.Remove the current Username and replace it with a new Username (email address) that is not already associated to any other BlackBerry ID, then select Save.

Note: A confirmation email will be sent to the email address that was used as the new Username. Open the email message and click the link to confirm the change.

7.Select Done > Logout.

LOL Woman Sad Uhm I did that already... I have forgotten my password and I cannot get it nor the PW link to reset it because my email address that I put as my BBId is incorrect...

 

And now my account is blocked because I tried to remember my PW to sign in 

 

So in summary my PW or username cannot be changed....

Unfortunately the only option is creating a new BlackBerry ID since a invalid email address was used Smiley Sad 

 

"If the BlackBerry ID password is forgotten and the email address for the BlackBerry ID is no longer accessible (Such as and ISP change or deleted email account) a new BlackBerry ID would need to be created. See KB24062 to create a new BlackBerry ID."

Yah!! Way ahead of you (^^,) This is my new BBID. I created it today in the hopes of resolving my problem above.

However I am still using the account on my smartphone. I just wanted to change some things on it but I guess that wont be happening.
