After security wipe, BlackBerry Link does not identify my backup file as valid for the device

I was having trouble with my Z10, so I backed it up with BlackBerry Link (which seemed to work creating an almost 1 gigabyte file) then I did a security wipe: When I restarted, I went through Setup to completion then the "Restore" item was enabled on the device popup menu.

When I click "Restore" after a few seconds delay the message reads "No backups available for this device".

Is there an emergency "No, really, RESTORE FROM THIS FILE" feature that I can invoke? I don't want to have to redownload all my Apps and reconfigure the entire device.

After the wipe, have you logged back in your BlackBerryID on that device?

Re: After security wipe, BlackBerry Link does not identify my backup file as valid for the device

Thanks very much for the quick reply... I did some further checking and I admit that sometimes Windows file permissions are strange and mysterious to me... for some reason, the Windows Home Server share where I write my backups to was "write only" from BlackBerry link's point-of-view... when I poked around and had difficulties just picking up and copying the file, I added my user log in to the formal list of "Full Control" users on that file, and then BlackBerry Link found the file just fine... it's now restoring.

Sorry for the false alarm, but perhaps this will help someone else in the future :-)
