Blackberry Link Download Assembly Error



I recentely purchased a Z10 but cannot download Blackberry Link on my computer.  The download process gets about 75% done and then freezes and displays an error message



Error 1935. An error occured during the installation of assembly componet {97F81AF1-0E47-DC99-Ao1f-C8B3B9A1E18E}. HRESULT: 0x8007054F


Please help

Thanks for the question.


Do you have any security software on the PC?  I would first suggest removing the BlackBerry Link software through Add/Remove programs and then disable any security software.


Download BlackBerry Link from www.blackberry.com/desktop and save it to your desktop.  Once it is downloaded, rename the MSI file as .zip and then open the zip file and double click on BlackBerryLink.EXE or Setup.EXE


Once the software is installed, please restart the computer and enable any security software.
