Hi. My Z10 was sluggish so I opted to restore the device software. Before doing so, I backed up my device two times. I did the restoration of the device software to factory settings. Now the problem:
I open Blackberry Link and connect my phone via the USB cable. I allow it to find my device - I have already signed in to Blackberry ID on the device. I choose the backup file created before restoring the device software to factory settings.. It starts the process and my device says not to disconnect it because of the restoration of the backup file. Blackberry Link shows 0% on the process and then just stops restoring and my device restarts without any restoration of the backup performed.
I had also signed up for Blackberry Protect but nothing is there. Please help!

I did the update to the latest version of Blackberry Link and have 10.1.0.273 on the phone, which is the same version used when I did the backup. I have tried putting the backup file on the microSD card in the phone, but this doesn't work. This is so frustrating to think that I've wasted so many hours on a process that should be so easy.
I can try wiping the phone again (third time) and do the restore before installing the 273 update.
