Hey SignsoflifeSA, I plucked up the courage and wiped my Z10 and tried the restore of the backup again.
It worked for me again thankfully..
This time I did not rename my Z10 prior to resore and I did not add my email account..
So just to be clear:
Z10 - STL100-1
Have you had any progress or success yet?

Hi again, I have tried to do a backup and restore over the weekend and it has not worked for me again.
I am quite disturbed how problematic this is for BB10.
I am now back on my faithful BB9790. I will not use the Z10 until I know the reason and how to fix the issue.

Dose Blackberry know that this issue is going to frustrate its loyal costumers so much and they can't fix it? I have the same problem and if I can't be sure that my data is secure I am running to the competition fast after many years with Blackberry! Please fix it!!! If you can hear me please don't abandon us and get it to work normally like in the past!

hi i'm trying to restore my media files too and got the same error message: "There is no personal workspace on this device. Personal data cannot be restored."
What can i do about this?? thanks!

HI I have a Q10 and i did backup my Q10 but now when I am trying to restore the backup it says
There was an error restoring - there could have been a problem with the device or connection during the restore. Verify that the device is turned on and connected"... What should I do?
PLEASE HELP GUYS
