I have begun to use my Z10 as my portable music player and I have run into some problems.
Full disclosure, I had to update my mac's OS before i could use link, so I grabbed music off my room mates, but I have been using my computer for the last week.
I have created a playlist in itunes with the music I want. When I sync my Z10, it shows the playlist in Link creating duplicates of songs (sometimes there are even 4 copies of one song). there have also been songs not in the original playlist that have been added to my BB. This is becoming a bit off a space issue as these unwanted songs are taking up about a gigabyte or two of space and I am running out of room.
I have no idea why this is happening. Any ideas?

Hi ChrisViani and welcome to the BlackBerry Support Community Forums!
Were some of the duplicated songs from your room mate's computer? Do they appear on 2 or more playlists in iTunes?

Was this a brand new media card when you first put it into your BlackBerry Z10?
As a test, can you try creating a couple of Playlists using Windows Media Player (WMP), then switch BlackBerry Link to synchronize with WMP? I would like to see if you still see duplicates on your BlackBerry Z10.

I am not using a media card. Just the onboard memory.
Now it is not so much an issue with duplicates rather blackberry link is adding music not in the playlist i am syncing.
I set up a playlist with all the songs i want added on, so i clicked sync to bb10 device. When it starts syncing the music it adds song that were not in the playlist. It seems to just be picking songs. I am haing trouble removing them from the device. I am not sure why it is adding all these songs.

When you sync your music, do you choose to sync all music or do you drag and drop your playlist on the BlackBerry icon at the bottom of BlackBerry Link?
