Re: Blackberry link will not install

Hey kestralsuper,

Welcome to the BlackBerry Support Community Forums.

Thanks for the question.

Do you receive any other specific errors except the LAN cable is unplugged?  Can you provide a screenshot?

I look forward to your reply.

Cheers.

The install gets almost to the end then says registering product, starting services then goes into roll back mode and uninstalls then an icon next to my wire less symbol says local area connection unplugged? I will try and get a screen shot later!!

Re: Blackberry link will not install

Same problem.  I get 95% of it installed, then "Local Area Connection 6 - A network cable is unplugged" error mesage, then my PC freezes and I have to restart manually.

I should mention that my Z10 has not yet been set up - I'm waiting for a micro SD card, but should I not still be able to set up Blackberry Link while I'm waiting?

The main reason I want Blackberry Link is to switch all of my stuff (contacts, BBM, Aps, etc.) from my old Curve 8320 smartphone to my new Z10.
