Bluetooth Jabra Stone 2 Connectivity

I love my Jabra Stone 2 headset - BUT it doesnt seem to stay connected with my new Z10? Anybody else with this issue?

I'm in France with the Z10 and i've got the same roblem as you....

I hope BB' techniciens could find a solution.

Hi, I have exactly the same problem, it constantly disconnects. I hope BB would solve this among some other issues with the Z10.

I own a Z10 in Canada and my JABRA Stone 2 doesnt even pair with it..

I hope this somehow resolves..

Hello,

 

Once I downloaded the Z10 update my problem was solved.

However prior to this I contacted Jabra and they sent me a link for a firmware update on the headset. Tried that - it didnt work. But it may be worth a try;

This is the correct procedure to upgrade firmware in the Stone or Stone2:

1- Download the JABRA_STONE2_SW_US firmware version from the following link : http://www.jabra.com/support/Jabra-STONE2_100-99310000-35

2- Start the software

3- When you get to the screen where it tells you to plug in the headset, plug the charging base only of the Stone into the USB cable connected to the PC

4- Turn the Stone off

5- Press and hold the Stone's answer/end button until the light is flashing yellow (it'll go into pairing mode first, but keep holding the button)

When you place the headset into the charging base, the software will start the download procedure (be sure not to press the answer/end button when you're putting the headset onto the base)

 

After the BB Update the headset works GREAT!
