I have had my Q5 for about 6 months. Over the first 5 months things went reasonably well (ok ok I had to reinstall it 5 times from scratch, but which BB user hasnt gone through that before?).
Very recently, after one of my full re installs, it failed to sync my calendar items from my desktops's Outlook 2007 to the terminal. Contacts worked, but the calendar didnt.
It prepares and starts reading but then it get's stuck it seems on a certain step called (in French) "Enregistrements correspondants" which could translate to "Corrsponding entries". It stays on this screen and I have given it a night to go through the routine (about 5000 calendar entries to push on the terminal). But time is not an issue. It doesnt manage to finish the sync.
As a result I have 0 calendar entries on my terminal which poses a bit of a problem.
Does somebody know the answer to how to resolve this situation? I am not so keen on a new install, as this always takes about half a days work with the apps, the contacts and other
PS: How crazy is it that Outlook Notes dont sync anymore? I had to go through a script to create an export from Outlook 2007 Notes that I then imported into Evernotes on my PC and then synced to the Q5. Just crazy.

Close the Microsoft Outlook program and make sure it is no longer running.
Open the Start menu and click on the "Run" icon.
Type "outlook /cleanreminders" into the text box and then hit "OK." Outlook will now scan and repair all of your calendar entries.
Open the Start menu again and go back to the "Run" option.
Type "outlook /resetfolders" into the text box and then hit "OK." Outlook will now reorganize your Outlook folders in order to ensure calendar entries are stored correctly.
